The GE DS200IIBDG1AEA is an IGBT (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) Driver Board designed for drive control systems, specifically GE’s Mark V Series. As a revised version of the parent DS200IIBDG1 board (with three significant product updates), its core role is to deliver precise control signals—typically pulse-to IGBT gate terminals, synchronizing with system needs to regulate switching frequency and duty cycle. It also monitors key parameters (temperature, voltage, current) for safe, efficient IGBT operation.


Physically, it features a 34-pin connector for ribbon cable connection, three 8-pin connectors labeled APL, BPL, CPL, for system communication, and nine red indicator LEDs. Strict handling is required: ribbon cables must be gripped by connectors to avoid damage; the board is high-voltage, so no contact with cabinet components is allowed. A thick standard PCB coating protects critical internal hardware.
