The GE IS220PAOCH1A is an Analog Output Module part of the Mark VIe series, designed for gas turbine control systems. It serves as an electrical interface between 1-2 Ethernet I/O networks and analog output terminal boards, integrating a BPPx processor board and a dedicated analog output acquisition board.
Key Features
- Analog Output Capabilities: 8 high-compliance 0-20 mA outputs with 16-bit DACs; each output includes a mechanical relay for enable/disable control, with LEDs indicating relay status.
- Feedback & Diagnostics: Current feedback via 16-bit ADCs and 50Ω terminal board resistors; self-tests check processor hardware, Ethernet, power supplies, and hardware-code matching. Internal temperature sensors trigger alerts for overheating.
- Connectivity & Installation: Dual RJ45 Ethernet ports for redundant communication, a 3-pin power input, and a DC-37 pin connector for terminal board links. Soft-start power allows hot-plugging; mounts via terminal board brackets to avoid connector stress.
- Compatibility: Works with TBAOH1C and STAOH1A/H2A terminal boards; supported by ControlST V04.06+ and configurable via ToolboxST. Operates in -40 to 70°C with derating based on output configurations.
- Alarm Management: Addresses out-of-range outputs/feedback or hardware faults by verifying commands, checking wiring, or replacing faulty boards/packs to ensure reliable turbine control.
